Adam has been involved in the practice of personal injury law since he was called to the Bar in 2006. He has been practicing exclusively plaintiff personal injury from motor vehicle accident since joining Simpson Thomas & Associates in January of 2011. Prior to joining Simpson Thomas, Adam worked for other local firms practicing for both defendants and plaintiffs. Adam’s experience working for large national and international insurance clients provides him with a unique understanding of defence practices. His experience allows him to anticipate and understand defence tactics to better inform and prepare his clients for their ICBC claim settlements.

Adam has experience in all types of cases from rear-end collision to head on collision resulting in catastrophic injuries. His has experience in cases involving a wide range of injuries and complex wage loss issues. One of Adam’s more significant cases involved a young child, under the age of five, who became a quadriplegic as a result of head-on collision. The intricacies of the case relating to the cost of future care and the child’s future loss of wages provided good lessons for future ICBC claim settlements. Adam has also represented clients with significant brain injuries and clients with permanent disabilities. In his short time at Simpson Thomas, Adam has already recovered damages for clients that total in excess of $10,000,000.
As an injury lawyer, Adam has experience in the British Columbia Supreme Court and Provincial Court as well as in the Court of Appeal. Adam has extensive experience in mediations, settlements and other forms of dispute resolution. He is prepared to pursue whatever method is the most effective way to provide the best results for each individual ICBC claim settlement.
Adam received his law degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2006 after receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree with honours from Simon Fraser University in 1999. Adam is currently a member of the Trial Lawyers Association, Canadian Bar Association, the law Society of British Columbia and the Vancouver Bar Association.
Outside of the practice of law, Adam has travelled extensively throughout the world. He spent significant time in Southeast Asia visiting countries such as Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia to name a few. His personal experiences help him better understand needs of his diverse cultural clientele.
