Abby was called to the bar in 2012. She completed her articles at a boutique plaintiff personal injury law firm and completed a secondment at a boutique family law firm, both in downtown Vancouver.
As an injury lawyer, Abby has experience in the British Columbia Supreme Court and Provincial Court. She has been practicing exclusively plaintiff personal injury law since her articles and has represented clients in motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, dog bite cases, assaults and wrongful death cases. She has dealt with a wide range of injuries including spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, soft tissue injuries, chronic pain, orthopedic injuries, neurological injuries and psychological injuries.
Abby was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and raised in Richmond, British Columbia. Abby received her law degree from the Manchester Metropolitan University in Hong Kong after receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia. Abby has successfully been accredited through the National Committee of Accreditation and is currently a member of the Law Society of British Columbia.
Abby has been involved with various volunteer work including Keeping Vancouver Spectacular, Mission Possible, and the Canadian Cancer Society.
Outside of the practice of law, Abby plays on a recreational softball team. She enjoys snowboarding, biking, swimming, fitness training, yoga and wakeboarding. Abby is fluent in Cantonese and speaks conversational Mandarin.
