Bios

Stephen Ferguson

Stephen Ferguson was born and raised in Richmond, BC. Steve obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Simon Fraser University in 2005, before receiving his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Manitoba in 2008. While in law school, Steve received both the Gilbert T. Gregory Memorial prize and the David Levin Memorial prize for the highest academic standing in the area of Real Estate Transactions.

Prior to joining Simpson Thomas & Associates in 2009, Steve completed his articles at a mid-size downtown Vancouver law firm where he gained valuable litigation experience and spent a significant portion of his articles in the insurance defence department. Steve developed a keen interest in personal injury litigation and soon after his call to the British Columbia Bar in 2009, he joined Simpson Thomas & Associates so that he could exclusively confine his practice to representing injured victims of motor vehicle accidents.

Steve has experience representing clients in the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia.

Steve is a member of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia and the Canadian Bar Association. Steve currently resides in downtown Vancouver and is happily married.
