Bios
Troy McLelan
Troy graduated from University of British Columbia Law School in 2009 and was called to the bar in January 2010. Troy joined Simpson Thomas and Associates in September 2010, and has appeared for Simpson Thomas and Associates both in chambers and as junior trial counsel.
Prior to attending law school, Troy studied engineering at McGill University. After graduating from McGill, he worked both as an entrepreneur and as part of larger engineering teams. His experience with engineering projects helps him manage complex litigation files.
Troy has represented clients in both Provincial and Supreme Court. Troy is also active with Access Pro Bono, and was named Access Pro Bono’s lawyer of the year for 2010.
Troy is a member of the Canadian Bar Association. In his spare time, he enjoys hockey and sailing.
